AngelCab Stroller Review | C Series

Our stroller finally arrived from Europe! Getting it here was a slight logistical puzzle, but hey, I am a determined woman. When I set my eyes on something there will be a way to make it happen. AngelCab is a German company, they produce the strollers in Germany, which I love all of those things, I actually realized most of my baby items are made in Germany. Because they are German, unfortunately, they only ship to the EU, and not the USA.

Yes, this was wayyy more complex to get this stroller, and yes I love it so much! It was worth it. After weeks of looking at strollers during my pregnancy, they all fell short of my expectations. They were drab, unattractive, and looked cheap. Additionally, again I will repeat!, the materials were mostly plastic! I don’t know how many times I need to preach about plastic, but it is damn near impossible to avoid, especially it seems in the American market.

Again, here I was, up until the wee hours, pregnant, disappointed in strollers, researching for other options. So I threw out my net and got creative. I looked everywhere.

Wanting beauty, functionality, and natural materials, it seemed like an impossible quest. Eventually, I stumbled upon this German company that met all those needs! Hurrah! Thank you AngelCab for being there.

So I had found it. A design that looked classic and timeless, it has an elegant handwoven wicker basket, complete with a natural filled coconut mattress! No polyester filling here, thank God! A wool hood, again, exactly what I wanted, nice wool. On top of that, it functions so well. Not only is it pretty, it has superb suspension, it rolls over snow banks with ease. I can take it on uneven terrain and glide over snow. Literally a dream, it is designed with every detail in mind, and every detail is what I would have done.

I love how it is convertible, so once Balthazar outgrows the bassinet there is a wool seat for me to click in. The stroller folds up to fit in the car, you just remove the basket and it is good to go. The assembly was a breeze, despite the instructions being in German, we figured it out.

The design process was wonderful how you get to design a bespoke stroller, down to the material of the leather handle to the colors of the wheels. Which is also super German to have the customization ;)

I love love love this stroller! It was funny, when we picked the design, the C series, I just liked how pretty the wheels looked. I did not really pay attention to their bragging about the suspension. It didn’t seem too special. Now OMG that suspension. It is unbelievable.

I now call it my G-Wagon stroller. Designed to last, and can tackle every terrain. It is great! Plus it is fantastic to know AngelCab really cares about the materials and reducing plastic. It is refreshing to find a brand and company that cares about its materials and produces a beautiful quality product.
