The Quest for the Holy Grail

Hey all,

I cannot believe how fast time is going and it is exam time again. I don't know how i feel about these condensed 1 semester classes in 1 month. So much all the time! Never enough time to vlog, or blog either which is sad. So this Weds. I actually have another exam, this one is in accounting. I am not a fan of accounting. I just hope I pass. I was so happy I passed my first exam! I guess all the studying paid off. :)

On a personal note things have  been falling in to place and scattering everywhere at the same time. You know those times where it is all good then all of a sudden everything just hits you at once! You just want to see yourself from an above third person narration point of view so you can work out the problem and be logical. Lezbehonest though, when are you ever logical in stressful situations? You want to, but sometimes it just doesn't happen. (most of the time)

I guess I am going to try and take each day at a time and tackle one stressful thing a little by little. There is always so much to do, that you have to see the little things, and not the entire shit mountain that is ahead of you.

So first challenge Accounting exam. I feel so boring studying all the time. Today my tiny victory was that I found the HOLY GRAIL. An almost perfect study spot. Its actually really difficult to find a good spot to study in Stockholm. The struggle is real.

I love coffee shops, but there's a problem. The cute indie ones close at 5, which is no good, and the Espresso Houses, and Wayne's are always crowded and not productive for studying. Today I decided to wing it and go to one of my favorite coffee shops in Stockholm, Cafe Foam. It was perfect, I almost don't want to share it because I don't want people to steal my perfect study spot. There was wifi, a ton of outlets, and a great surprise, SAD Lamps!!!!

I was so happy they had SAD lamps it is already dark by 4 pm here now, I'm already missing light and it is only October. I know it'll be way worse. Small victory today to finding a great little study nook. :) Woo Hoo!

Now I'm just hoping the old phrase "everything will sort out, and happens for a reason" can apply to my personal life and I can figure everything out.

Also, going back to the USA in three days! So excited for autumnal things.  :) "Fall" isn't really as big here in Europe and Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, I just want to see some harvest themed things.

xx Elizabeth
