Bonjour Paris!
Bonjour!
Wow it has been a whirlwind of a first two days here in Paris. It has been great to explore and do some sight seeing. I am now sitting editing photos and contemplating going to Champagne tomorrow and touring the vineyards. Or on the other hand staying in Paris to stroll, shop, and see some more. I guess I'll see how I feel tomorrow. I have also finally decided to try out my Lightroom, I am loving how the edits are now turing out. It may take some more time but the playing around on here is giving me some great results.
Here are some highlights of the trip so far.
Breakfast: Ob-La-Di
54 Rue de Saintonge
Overpriced food, but healthy and yummy. Cute small little cafe to get a nice breakfast but be aware the granola cost me 12 euros. I would go back for the latte though since finding a good cuppa' coffee is proving to be difficult.
Arc de Triomphe
The view from the top of the Arc is fabulous it also doubles as a gym climbing up all the stairs. Lucky for us the line was short and we got free admission! :)
Cheap Beer in Paris
No pictures for this one but head on over to Chai Antoine 4 Rue des Canettes. They have 3 euro wine and 2.50 beers can't go wrong with that! It is also in a cave which is pretty neat I guess.
Notre Dame
After some strolling and wandering around Paris we managed to see the Notre Dame. Quite crowded to go in and a lot of pigeons. Yuck! I strongly despise those little creatures, especially when I see them sitting on people's heads!
So that is a short little summary of what I have done so far. I got some amazing falafel and crepes as well. Looking forward to where the coming days shall take me! <3
