First Day Thailand- Ao Nang

So I am finally able to go through my pictures on my laptop and edit them. I am still disappointed that my brand new Lumix lens is broken from the sand, and I was only able to take nice non- iPhone pictures on the first day. Of course it was when I wore the scrubbiest outfit and was the least tan! But oh well, that happens.

The fist day we arrived we just decided to do some exploring around Ao Nang. We ate at Tanta's for a lunch. I just looked on Tripadvisor there are mixed reviews about Tanta's but it was just like every other place in Thailand I think.

We stayed at the Queen's Pavilion hotel. I wouldn't recommend it. It was just ok. The pool was nice, but overall the hotel was dated and dirty. We had a girl's room, which we called the murder room since there were mysterious red splashes on the walls... If that gives you an idea of the cleanliness. haha

The first day was relaxing we went to the markets along the beach and made it to Ao Nang beach. We saw some nice long tail boats and had room service that night for dinner since the heat was so exhausting. It is hard work walking around in 32 degrees c or around 97 f with 80% humidity!

I'll try and do a day by day posting of Thailand now since I am back to the wifi! It is just sad that I wasn't able to get the pictures I wanted. I even packed a reflector, which got no use due to the camera malfunctioning!

Anyways! Enjoy!
