Fischknusperli | A must eat in Switzerland

Every Saturday morning, a small local fish shop along Lake Lucerne opens up to serve Fischknusperli, essentially one of the best fish fries you can ever eat. Not even overdramatizing, fantasies of this fish dance around long after returning home from Switzerland. 

Normally the shop just sells fish, that is still locally caught from the lake, and still recommended. Yet Saturday is when the real magic happens. I am sworn to secrecy about the name of this local fishmonger since they catch the fish daily and only sell what they have caught. If you are too late too bad, it sells out quickly. 

Perfectly battered local fish, homemade bread and tartar sauce, and spectacular views. Not sure if there is any better way to start a Saturday. A breakfast tradition for all seasons when in Switzerland.
