Midsummer

Here is the second part of my midsummer pictures. We were a day late on making the flower crowns but we hiked around to a nature preserve to the south-eastern most point of Sweden. There were goats and cows everywhere! While we were hiking we gathered flowers for the flower crown. I learned how to make one; it is really easy you just take some flower wire and just wrap the cluster of flowers together then keep adding more. I thought the horses we saw on the hike were super stylish with their festival fringe that they had on ;)

The next day we drive back up to Stockholm and stopped in the charming city of Berga. We went to the "loppis" or antique store there and I was able to pick up some nice silver trays for the apartment. I'll be sure to post about them later. Next to the store was an adorable cafe with homemade pies and treats! They were so good. I had the walnut pie, but my favorite that I tried a bite out of was the lemon one.

Now I am back in the US finally and trying to plan what I'll do while here.
