Finally Free
Hey there!
I am so happy to say that I finally have finished my first final! I'm not sure if I passed *fingers crossed* but at least it is over with. So much stress is gone and I can finally appreciate that the leaves are changing and it is October! ?
Where did all the time go?
This week there is a Great Gatsby party, a cray-fish party, and then next week I am going to go to Finland on a cruise. :) It is nice to have things planned.
Also Next week I'm getting my hair done. I'm so nervous to have someone new do my hair. That is such a personal thing, when you finally find the one person who is able to achieve the perfect color and look you want. I found mine, and now she is all the way back in Chicago. The wounds are still fresh. :( But alas my roots must be gone and I have to venture to a new salon. I chose Rapunzel of Sweden to go to, they had some nice colorings and a good before and after selection.
Today I had a day off, it was so nice. I met up with a friend from Australia and we did some shopping and then wondered around Gamla Stan. I forgot just how beautiful it is there. We went at twilight and it was haunting and surreal to be walking the old cobble stone streets with no one else around! It was also a struggle in heeled boots. *Tip** Don't wear heels in Gamla Stan! Your feet will be angry.
We ended the day at Vapiano, and the biggest shock of the week was that on a Wednesday evening in Sweden there was a 30 min wait!? People were actually out to eat and we found where they were! There are also 75 kr cocktails, a steal in Stockholm!
All in all it was a lovely fall day and it was nice to be able to take in Stockholm and enjoy the city.
